Where These Grommets Fit
Grommets line the holes that cables and wires pass through in sheet metal and plastic panels. The rubber edge protects the cable from the sharp panel edge and stops the hole from chafing the insulation.
The photo shows a snap-in grommet from our range, front and back. The molded marking on the face reads 12 x 22, the inner and outer diameter of this sample in millimeters, and the back side is recessed so the part seats into the panel.
What You Can Specify
Inner diameter, outer diameter and groove width follow your panel thickness and cable size. Common compounds for grommets include natural rubber, SBR, NBR and EPDM; black is standard and other colors are available on request.
Buyer tip: state the panel thickness along with the hole diameter. The groove is molded to that thickness so the grommet snaps in and stays put.
